On June 3, 2016 Bora Bora presented the Spanish vertical dancers Delrevés on the side of Aarhus Cathedral and flamenco dancer Selene Muñoz on the Bispetorv square – as part of “Verdensbilleder – Explore The World With Aarhus”. Here we produced a behind-the-scenes video of Delrevés’ preparations and two performances of “Uno” on the cathedral.
MARTIN FORSBERG / FORSWORKS (S/DK)
In April 2016, Bora Bora presented the co-production “ULTRA”. The company ForsWorks had earlier worked on the performance at Bora Bora. We interviewed dancer/choreographer Martin Forsberg and stage- and costume-designer Jenny Nordberg.
AAKASH ODEDRA (UK)
The Bora Bora co-production, “Murmur / Inked” had its Danish premiere on May 19th, 2015. We interviewed dancer and choreographer Aakash Odedra about his performance.
On April 20th, 2015 “The WOMANhouse / ReDoing Gender” premiered at Bora Bora. We had a talk with the man behind this double performance, director and choreographer Andreas Constantinou. We also interviewed three of the four performers in “The WOMANhouse”.
BÁRA SIGFÚSDÓTTIR (ISL)
In December 2014, Icelandic dancer and choreographer Bára Sigfusdóttir visited Bora Bora in a residency. Here she worked on her next performance THE LOVER, which she talks about in the video as well as showing some examples of the work in progress. Bára Sigfusdóttir is based in Brussels.
MODERN TIMES STAGE COMPANY (CAN)
Peter Farbridge talks about FORGIVENESS at the Danish premiere in December 2014 – among other things about inspiration found in Bosnia, about reviewers with ex-girlfriends in the audience and how Danish irony found its way to Canada via Don*Gnu. Includes clips from the rehearsals.

In May 2014, we interviewed Canadian choreographer Frédérick Gravel when he presented his performance USUALLY BEAUTY FAILS at Bora Bora. The video was put online in October 2014 when Terpsichore’s dance magazine Dans was published with an article on him.

When the Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake presented DUAL during the Aarhus Festival Week in September 2014, we talked with her about the thoughts behind the performance, the dancers and audience.
