Contextualizing Dance – The Archives

In December of 2019 around 70 dance professionals across the field met at Bora Bora for two days to talk about contemporary dance and how it relates to the surrounding society.

Most of the sessions were recorded and can be watched below. And we’re happy to share it.

We would like to keep the discussions rolling, but unfortunately the videos are not interactive. However, if you want to add to some of the discussions or share a point of view you can send your proposal to jeppe (at) bora-bora.dk and we can publish it on the website besides next to the relevant video.

For more information on the original programme, participants and supporters please visit this page.

Regarding the documentation:
Most talks were documented with on-person microphones to ensure good audio, but a few discussions were captured using a microphone in the room thus making it less clear (but still audible).
