Welcome to the
Fall programme at Bora Bora

We are ready to embark on another season. From August 29 until December 14 you among other things can experience new talents from around Europe, a street dance festival, hand drawn puppetry during the Aarhus Festival week and serious social criticism from Danish choreographers. Aarhus’ own Don * Gnu have a new premiere of the programme while the rockband Reptile Youth present a special concert. In addition to this fall’s artists from abroad you can experience exciting Danish dance performances by choreographers Pernille Garde, Edhem Jesenkovic and Reumert winner Kitt Johnson.

We look forward to seeing you!

Detour Urban Dance

Detour is an urban dance festival with bboying, house and hip-hop poetry dedicated to promoting and enhancing the quality of urban dance and its great choreographic potential in Denmark. In the past three years the festival has been a great success in Copenhagen, where it has challenged both the audience and the Danish dance environment in their perception of urban dance and choreography. Now the festival comes to Aarhus for the first time.
