”Champions” is presented as part of a double program alongside ”Mass Effect”. Your ticket is valid for both performances.
What makes us all champions? What are we wrestling with in our personal lives? Do we ever stop and deal with our vulnerabilities?
Champion's is a performance installation where the fine lines between intimacy and wrestling are exposed. Inanimate objects come to life and atmospheres shift as one individual faces the challenges of being. Themes of homosexuality, family and home are exposed in this deeply moving performance installation.
The double program features two powerful and distinct performances that explore resilience and endurance from two contrasting perspectives.
PLEASE NOTE: The dialogue in "Champions" will be in English.

Join us for an Artist-Psychologist Post Show Talk after the performances of "CHAMPIONS" and "MASS EFFECT" on Thursday 6th February.
During the last year choreographer, performance artist and director of Himherandit Production Andreas Constantinou has worked together with Psychologist Kristine Graugaard throughout the making of "CHAMPIONS". The course of his therapy sessions have been the main catalyst for the unfolding content of the performance installation alongside the creative process in the studio.
Emerging themes in the studio and therapy sessions have been explored with Graugaard who has played a major role as a dramaturg in the making of this work, without having ever seen it.
This dynamic and interdisciplinary methodology has been the main engine in the formation of what "CHAMPIONS" is today.
PSYCHOLOGIST joins ARTIST on stage after she has seen the work for the first time. Together they will unpack themes and engage in an open and honest conversation about the work in the presence of an audience.
Anyone interested, for professional or personal reasons, should not miss this rare opportunity to hear two professionals from different fields delve into an artist creation through the process of therapy.
The talk will be in English.
