The DR Symphony Orchestra cello ensemble performs a free concert at Bora Bora, joined by extraordinary flamenco dancer Selene Muñoz and soprano Klaudia Kidon.

As part of Live in Denmark - and in cooperation with La Cana Flamenco - the DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) Symphony Orchestra cello ensemble will be coming to Aarhus on December 8. They will be joined by a soprano and a flamenco dancer.

The ten celli from the DR Symphony Orchestra are used to playing with their 89 colleagues but this december they are taking main stage in a flamenco concert at Bora Bora in Aarhus. Together with soprano Klaudia Kidon from the DR Vocal Ensemble and dancer Selene Muñoz, they will be giving samples of what a cello ensemble can do when they are "home alone"...

Danish-Spanish Selene Muñoz started dancing as a child and was teaching at age 13. She is known in many countries both as a flamenco dancer and choreographer. Nationally she became wider known for her performance at The Crown Prince Couple's Awards last year and from an appearance in Dancing with the Stars.

The program includes music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Georges Bizet and Astor Piazzolla.

A real treat for everyone who loves dance - and for anyone curious to know more.
