LOOK HERE! There will be an aftertalk following the performance on November 7th with Noora Hannula as well as Jens Emil Grønbæk, Andreas Fender and Troels Rasmussen from Aarhus University, where they specialise in augmented reality.
Before we cast aside the complicated relationship, back home at the chopping board, in favour of a personally customized, throbbing sex adventure with a half cheerleader, half unicorn-avatar, Noora Hannula and The Nordic Beasts dance theatre will storm against the future.
During a 45-minute showdown choreographer and dancer Noora Hannula will test her physical limits against 3D-animated virtual girlfriend Soma. Inspired by the most popular game heroines, this dead-hardcore, dead-funny physical dance performance will be do the impossible: as human Noora mimics flight sequences, extreme martial arts and erotic clichés in this grotesquely embodied attempt to beat the staged 3D reality.
The piece is co-produced by Kulturværftet and Bora Bora and supported by Nordic Culture Fund, Koneensäätiö (FI), Dansk Komponist Forening and Knud Højgaards Fond.
