Amor Kærlighed Liebe Love

Bride-to-be finds her relationship with the man of her dreams falling apart as the initial infatuation of their love is fading. How can they save the relationship and reignite the flame? Could the answer be the wedding she always dreamed of?

CuntsCollective delves into the Eurocentric and American-influenced romanticized conception of love. They focuses on the social norms, gender roles, hierarchies and structures that make up the recipe for love we know from Western popular culture. We say love is free, but is it?

Sound artist zack christ delivers a sound universe that lives in the classical structure of pop music, only to deconstruct it all just before climax. He plays with the audience’s guilty pleasures and swings pop songs, R&B, noise and techno into a big planned chaos, while the two performers wrapped in plastic sing synthetic love tirades.

Imre Mark Petkov works with animated 3D scans of the two performers and turn them into a series of abstract scenarios that are projected on stage.

Lighting designer and cinematographer Naia Burucoa will perform live visuals – including light improvisation, projection of video material filmed in real time and pre-recorded video material.

Strobe lights are not used, but bright lights and flashing visuals will occur.

The language of the performance is english.

CuntsCollective is a young queer feministic performance collective based between Denmark and Germany. The collective consists of a multidisciplinary international LGBTQ+ cast. Through their cultural differences and artistic similarities, CuntsCollective creates radical, innovative performances with the desire to make the intersectional feministic art scene more prominent in Nordic cultural life.

CuntsCollective has brought together artists from Iceland, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Sweden and Brazil, to create an international, versatile and rich perspective on performing arts, love, gender and sexuality. AMOR KÆRLIGHED LIEBE LOVE is also an interdisciplinary stage production, where the participating artists will engage in social reflection, artistic dialogue and new ways of expressing and merging their perspectives into one work of art.
