The light reveals your and the rest of the audience’s emotions by measuring your heart rate. In this concert and dance performance, heartbeats are translated into an interactive lighting design on stage. The light will flow in colors determined by your and the other audiences’ mood and emotional reactions. Dancer and choreographer Noora Hannula and composer Ida Duelund are going to make your heart pump out of it by the means of pumping and flowing movements and enticing, gloomy electronic tones and beats.

Noora Hannula has together with composer Ida Duelund created the total fusion between dance, music and lighting design. The music wraps the audience in a detailed soundscape, where ASMR sounds (autonomous sensory meridian response) meet rave and a classical symphony, composed especially for the performance. The costume transmits the dancer’s movements and converts them into music.

The Nordic Beasts Dance Theater is a groundbreaking Nordic dance company, founded by artistic director Noora Hannula (FI). The goal of The Nordic Beasts is to constantly explore new ways to create visual dance productions across media that reflect contemporary themes in innovative ways.
