“UNIVERS”, an experience for the youngest, full of poetry and movement.
“UNIVERS” is a sensory experience based on visual poetry and live music, where the audience shares the stage with the performers.
“UNIVERS” explores how the smallest and – seemingly – meaningless thing can make everything change in the most unexpected way… A unique, evocative and immersive journey, rebuilt every time, inspired by kinetic art.
Individuals, bodies and disorganised objects move and find themselves and their place again and again. Finding a balance and harmony in the big picture. Every individual in this cosmos, every sound, every movement, is bound to a fragile relationship with each other.
Reviews
“The Universe of Engruna Theatre is an ode to cultural reconciliation. Children and parents alike celebrate with wide-open eyes this first theatrical immersion, full of sensitivity and understanding that the unexpected is the key to enjoying life.”
– Jordi Bordes, Recomana
“The children observe closely, fascinated by the lights, colours, music and movement. Simple and very beautiful.”
– Dani Chicano, El Temps de les Arts

About Engruna Teatre (ES)
Engruna Theatres tell their stories to excite and make a difference. They take small things, details we don’t normally notice, and turn them into unique narratives, full of symbols and stories.
The Engruns (‘crumbs’ in Catalan) show how the shared experience transcends the individual. They explore the potential of combining words, visual poetry, live music and object theatre. They use the aesthetics, beauty and poetry of theatre to discuss universal topics.
All in all, it allows audiences to dive into a unique theatre experience.
