ERIK is an intimate portrait of 20-year-old Erik. He is an energetic and avid football enthusiast, behind-the-scenes dreamer, sprinter, celebrity lover and groupie, Olsen Gang imitator and weather nerd. Erik has above average passions for tourist attractions, birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, Marcus & Martinus, Norway in red, white and blue, Dannebrog and the peace sign. Through his many interests and strong passions, Erik dances for us.
Venue: Teaterhuset Filuren (Musikhuset)
The performance is sold with unnumbered seats.
ERIK is an intimate portrait of 20-year-old Erik Victor Johnsen. Through his many interests and strong commitment, Erik dances for us. He is an energetic and authentic football enthusiast, behind the scenes fanatic, sprinter, celebrity lover and groupie, Olsen Banden impersonator and weather nerd.
Erik has a special interest in tourist attractions, birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, news in general and weather forecasts in particular. He is interested in climate and the environment, salt and pepper in Polar Park, Marcus and Martinus, Norway in red, white and blue, Dannebrog and the peace sign, and Faxe Kondi is his favourite soft drink.
As an audience member, you are welcome to do as Erik does: dress up in “your” team’s jersey, live out your inner groupie in your favourite band’s t-shirt or dress up in something else more or less relevant to the occasion. No merchandise is too small, no Santa costume too big.

About Silje Solheim Johnsen and the team behind ERIK
Silje Solheim Johnsen is a Norwegian choreographer and performer based in Tromsø. Her current works can be described as portraits for the stage, where she unwraps people out of their glossy pictures, and creates choreographic work in situations that can be of importance both for the performers and the audience. She has created solos, duets and group pieces with performers in close relations, across generations. With her specific use of performers, she creates space for underrepresented bodies and voices within the professional dance scene.
Kristine Gjems, is a scenographer and costume designer. ERIK is Kristine and Siljes third collaboration. Erik and Kristine find common interest in the constant and never-ending creational process of the scenography and the props we surround ourselves with on and off stage.
Tobias Leira is a lighting designer, who is also a performer, and together with Erik they have many common interests in cool sunglasses, heavy warm up- exercises and soccer.
Aggie Peterson is a DJ and composer who first caught Eriks interest when composing the theme song for the childrens TV-show Kråkeklubben some twenty years ago. Now they are together on stage, equal supporters of each other’s artistic work.
