DanseTapas is an initiative created by Aarhus Dance Collective (AaDC), an established group of contemporary dancers and choreographers passionate about expanding and empowering the local dance community as well as connecting artists in Aarhus through interdisciplinary initiatives.
For this event AaDC curates an evening where local artists working with dance are able to share their Work-in-Progress and have an open talk with the audience afterwards. This gives the artists an opportunity to test new ideas and get feedback as well as give the audience the rare opportunity to follow the process leading up to a finished piece.
DanseTapas takes place at Bora Bora on the 17th and 18th of December 2024 at 19:00.
The ticket includes a drink and snacks during the following talk.

Aarhus Dance Collective is hosting a 3rd edition of “DanseTapas”. We are therefore calling all Aarhus based performing artists interested in doing a sharing of their work. It can be a work in progress, part of a longer piece, method or exploration.
When: 17th & 18th december (19:00-21:00)
Where: Bora Bora – Dans & Visuelt Teater (lille sal)
Length: max. 15 min.
Salary: 2.000 kr.
How: send us a presentation of your work including video material, duration, description of piece (max. 4 lines), a picture & other info you may think is relevant on aarhusdancecollective@
We are looking for 3 artistic Tapas impressions.
