‘BLÆK’ is Aarhus Dance Collective’s upcoming performance about power, control and survival – a battle dance in a world under pressure, where every movement becomes a negotiation. Inspired by both corporate aesthetics and the octopus’s ability to change shape, the dancers become physically enlarged leaders who explore how power can be both necessary and destructive for the individual as well as the community. The audience is invited into a visually intense and physically present universe where one senses how power is balanced and how it affects us.
