Secret Hotel

Secret Hotel is an Associated Artist at Bora Bora. For more than a decade, the theatre has created audience-participatory performances about, in and through the living world. With Christine Fentz as artistic director and director, the company works closely with scientists, artists and audiences throughout the creative process.

The performances explore the relationships between humans and the more-than-human world, inviting audiences to experience theatre through participation, curiosity and sensory encounters. The work ranges from site-specific performances and performance lectures to walks in landscapes and immersive experiences.

Christine Fentz describes the collaboration with Bora Bora as an opportunity to work with an established performing arts institution that shares a commitment to exploring our connection with the living world.

As an Associated Artist at Bora Bora, Secret Hotel contributes to the development of contemporary performing arts in Aarhus and creates new encounters between art, research and audiences.
