Bora Bora is looking for volunteers for the performance Ball

You’ll have the chance to help create a performance about dance and Aarhus with the artist duo Ásrún Magnusdottir & Alexander Roberts and the Iceland Dance Company. You don’t need to prepare anything before taking part in the rehearsals.

We’d like to see as many styles as possible represented on stage, so whether your heart beats for hip hop, ballet, folk dance or something else entirely, you’re welcome to sign up. Ásrún and Alexander are looking for eight to ten dancers and, together with the team at Bora Bora, will select the final group who will take to the stage with dancers from the Iceland Dance Company.

Ásrún explains:
“BALL welcomes dance enthusiasts of all ages, with different backgrounds, experience and body types, so they can take to the stage and dance together. Everyone brings a dance, chooses their own music and finds a way to share that dance with the group. At the same time, just like at a ball, it’s not just about skill or the brilliance of each dance, but also about the experience of dancing the different dances together.”
