What can your body tell you that words can’t? What does courage look like in motion? And what happens when we create dance together – across cities, experiences and ideas?

DanseBALLADEN 2025 is the culmination of an intense dance week where children and young people from Silkeborg, Ringkøbing-Skjern and Horsens have worked together with professional choreographers. In just five days, they have created a brand new performance – filled with energy, curiosity and creativity.

The performance is a snapshot of their shared story. Here you will meet dancers between the ages of 10 and 15 who have thrown themselves into modern dance, improvisation and choreography – some for the first time, others with more experience. What they have in common is the courage to create and stand on stage together.

DanseBALLADEN is part of DanseKRAFT – a regional network that works to strengthen dance as an art form and give children in the Central Denmark Region access to the communities and narrative power of dance.
