Aarhus Dance Collective (DK)
DanseTapas
DanseTapas is an initiative created by Aarhus Dance Collective (AaDC), an established group of contemporary dancers and choreographers passionate about expanding and empowering the local dance community as well as connecting artists in Aarhus through interdisciplinary initiatives.
DanseTapas gives local artists who work with dance in some way, the opportunity to share a piece they are working on and get feedback from the audience. The event is also an exciting opportunity for the audience to get an insight into the process leading up to a finished performance and to see what’s happening in the city’s burgeoning art scene.
We have put together an evening consisting of four DanseTapas performances. See more info below.
The ticket includes 1 beer/soda and snacks during the following talk.
Performance: 19:00-20:00
Aftertalk: 20:00-21:00
We look forward to once again sharing our love for dance with you all.
All the best,
Anne-Sofie, Lucas & Maria

The four segments of the evening
WHO ARE YOU WHEN THE WORLD ENDS?
Dancers Nadja World, Ronja Isabella Salling and choreographer Rikke Ebling
An excerpt of Teater I DER’s interdisciplinary sci-fi performance.
Sound by Nikolaj Lippert. Text by Johanne Willman.
JOIN THE PUDDING CLUB, MOM
Dancer/choreographer Nana Anine
A solo performance, which, through honesty, hope, and humor, sheds light on the things we don’t talk about when a dancer becomes a mother. Anine will celebrate the new partnership that comes with motherhood. Throwing away labels like “mom-body” and groove her way into the new, milk-producing body.

FLUIDITY OF FEELING
Dancer/choreographer Sara Cordes & composer/singer Sergiu Cristian Baba
Fluidity of Feeling is an interdisciplinary performance that explores the intertwined emotional states of panic, euphoria, numbness, and peace through dance and sound, showing the similarities in our body’s reactions to these emotions.

Life is now. The time slot in which your whole life unfolds. Are we spending it well? Time is one of the most precious things we have in our fast paced society. We are overflowing with projects, appointments and relations. Are we spending all of our time planning for the future, whilst we reminisce about the past? Join us on this journey into the difficult presence and experience when being present is truly important.
