Open Rehearsals - Christoffer Brekne / Tone Haldrup Lorenzen / Bjørn W. Olesen / Alice Carreri
Monument 1
FREE: We invite you inside the engine room when photographer and video artist Christoffer Brekne, together with performers Tone Haldrup Lorentzen and Bjørn W. Olesen and musician Alice Carreri, dive deep into their respective fields to see how they interact. Physical performance and sound art as well as innovative video technology and surround sound will hopefully merge in new ways.
These are open rehearsals for “Monument 1”, which is currently in the research phase.
The interaction between the four artists’ respective fields and new techniques will be tested, and as a visiting audience member, you are invited to take a look.
On Thursday October 12th and Friday October 13th, the rehearsals are open to the public between 13:00 and 16:00.
A sign will be placed by the glass door in the “schoolyard” to the right of Bora Bora’s main entrance, where there will be a phone number in case the doors are not open when you arrive. Call the number and you will be let in.
You are also welcome to contribute in feedback sessions during the visit if you wish.
In December, Christoffer Brekne will return to Bora Bora with a video workshop in relation to “Monument 1”. Information will follow later.
