My Undying Love

How do we deal with death in today’s society?
Can sharing difficult experiences of loss and grief grow our empathy as an overall community?

In this breathtaking new work by Himherandit Productions, simple acts of human kindness and shared rituals become door openers to encounter topics of human fragility, life, death and community.

In 2021 artist Andreas Constantinou lost his parents to untimely deaths by unforgiving illnesses.
Knowing he would lose his mother to a terminal illness, Andreas decided to record an interview with her and talk openly about death, her mother’s passing, and advice about her coming departure. The results are intimate, honest and feature as core content throughout My Undying Love.

This new performance installation is the artist’s honest response to grief, an open love letter to humanity, a testament to love and an honouring to life itself.

WHAT TO EXPECT UPON ENTERING MY UNDYING LOVE?

You will enter a custom-built installation in small groups of five. You will meet a guide who will be present with you throughout the experience.

As you enter the installation you will be submerged between this world and the next as you are showered with delicate and original surround sound music, immersed inside 360 video panoramas and engage in tactile interactive live art experience. 

My Undying Love lasts approximately one hour and each audience agrees before entering to remain inside the installation for the full duration. There is no exiting the performance installation once you have entered and you must remain until the end of each experience.
