ONE WEEK DANCE COMPANY is a network consisting of young Danish dancers aged 17 to 25 years old. The collective’s motivation is to create a sustainable and supportive community where the young aspiring dancers can share and exchange their common artistic practices. ONE WEEK was founded in 2018 by Lene Bonde and is not tied to a specific city in Denmark, but operates in various locations throughout the country and engages in different collaborations.
The week will culminate in an informal OPEN SHARING on Friday 5 July 2024, where the audience will be invited to see what the young dancers have been working on during the week at BORA BORA. It is free for the public to attend (to book click “buy tickets” on this page).
The collaboration between ONE WEEK and Bora Bora in the summer of 2024 is supported by The Danish Arts Foundation.
