One Week Dance Company (DK)

One Week Dance Company

July 5th 2024, 17:00 (50 min.) FREE OPEN SHARING

Young dancers try out artistic processes in a professional environment.

The performance is with unnumbered seating.

Bora Bora and One Week Dance Company are pleased to invite you to a free open sharing of the company’s work.

One Week Dance Company, as the name describes, comes together for one week to live, dance and share experiences together. The participants come from different parts of the country and are at different stages of their dance careers.

What happens when 12 young dancers from all over the country meet and train in a professional environment for a week? How far can you really go in just one week? What is the effect of such an intense week on their dance practice? And what can a 16-year-old young dancer learn from dancing alongside a newly trained professional dancer?

One Week will address these questions and more during their open screening. They invite you to a informal afternoon where the audience will have the opportunity to meet the 12 young dancers up close, unfiltered, as they share their thoughts, reflections and dreams. And of course, you’ll see them in action on stage at Bora Bora, dancing with their different backgrounds, experiences and approaches to dance.

The result is an OPEN SHARING on Friday 5 July 2024, where the audience will be invited to see what the young dancers have been working on during the week at Bora Bora. It is free and can be booked via the ‘buy tickets’ button on this page.

ONE WEEK and Bora Bora’s collaboration in summer 2024 is supported by:
