A soft, ever-changing fortress where babies and adults can crawl inside to dwell on shifting moods and be immersed in the co-creative soundscape.

The Baby Castle [Babyborgen] – a Bastion of Softness

Welcome to The Baby Castle – a sensory and soothing installation performance created especially for babies aged 0–15 months and their grown-ups. Together, you are invited to crawl into a soft and ever-changing world, where body, sound, and light merge into a calm and curious universe.

The Baby Castle is a gentle, responsive structure bathed in video projections and surrounded by a carefully crafted soundscape by musician Rumpistol. Two performers gently guide you through shifts in atmosphere and space, and you decide how long you’d like to stay.

This is a free space with no fixed seats or expectations – you may come and go, move freely, and be present at your own pace. Here, children and adults can share an experience where the world is explored from new angles, close to the floor – and close to each other.

Experience a choreographed pause from the busyness of everyday life.

IMPORTANT! PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT BUYING TICKETS

The performance is a 2-hour sensory experience that allows you to arrive and leave (and return) according to your child’s rhythm and needs. It is recommended to spend approximately 45 minutes in the room, but you are welcome to stay longer or shorter. There is a maximum capacity for how many people can be in the room at the same time, so there may be some waiting time (it is possible to stay in the baby lounge while waiting).

You buy tickets for a specific arrival time during the two-hour period of the performance:

The afternoon performance on September 22nd from 14:00 – 16:00
Buy a ticket with arrival at either 14:00, 14:15, 14:30, 14:45, 15:00 or 15:15

The morning performances on September 23rd to 25th from 10:00 – 12:00
Buy tickets with arrival at either 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, 10:45, 11:00 or 11:15.
