About the performance
“OORT” (English title: “HEAR/HERE”) is an intimate sound experience that plunges you and the three performers into a sea of sounds that you recognize
from long before you remember anything,
from before you were born.
Because our first encounter with the world consists purely of sound.
And there are all manner of things for unborn ears to hear:
gurgling, pounding, rumbling, rustling,
but also singing, laughing, speaking, humming, strumming and crashing
… a magisterial, churning, mishmashing mother’s melody

Lounge
Lounge
Before and after the performances you can use our baby lounge. Here you check in. It is possible to leave outerwear, bags etc. The lounge is always under observation. In the lounge you will also find a diaper changing area and have the opportunity to breastfeed, play and more.
At the start and end of the performance you will be followed to and from the theater stage. From the lounge to the theater there is about 30 m. walk outdoors.

About Theater De Spiegel (BE)
Theater De Spiegel makes musical theater for the very young. Actors and musicians play with characters, spaces, music and audiences. This wonderful interaction leads to cozy and heartwarming performances. Theater De Spiegel stimulates both children’s and adults’ curiosity, wonder and imagination.
Karel Van Ransbeeck has worked as a puppet master, director or production designer for several Belgian puppet theater companies, including Taptoe, De Maan, Welle, Vlinders & Co and Froe Froe.
