Welcome to an explosive journey into the identity of the modern woman!

In “K.I.S.S.”, the successful show “M.I.S. – all night long” is challenged by a female team with director Kamilla Wargo, who this time will explore what it means to be a woman today. Gone are the stereotypes and preconceptions – here we know that the modern woman is complex, nuanced and full of surprises.

Inspired by the feminine ideals of the past and the empowerment movement of today, “K.I.S.S.” dives into the inner strength, vulnerability and willpower that characterizes today’s woman. Growing up in a world of strong role models, popular culture and 90’s girl power, who is the modern woman really – beneath the layers of expectations, social norms and female life roles?

Look forward to a show full of quirky stunts, both physical and mental, as the three women step out of their comfort zone to take on everything from the “superwoman” syndrome to the perfect mom image, the inner critic and societal pressure.

“K.I.S.S.” is a party for anyone who wants to celebrate the human right to be themselves – real, candid and powerful in their imperfection – all night long!

The performance is mainly non-verbal. Any speaking parts will be in English.

DON GNU – Physical Theater & Film makes action theater and dance combined in a playful and poetic universe.

The company was established in 2010 by the choreographers Jannik Elkær and Kristoffer Louis Andrup Pedersen, who together are responsible for the artistic management. DON GNU are house artist at Bora Bora.

Today, DON GNU is one of the country’s most touring companies, which in addition to extensive touring activities in Denmark, has also toured in large parts of the world, including all the Nordic countries, South Korea, Canada, large parts of Europe and Cuba.
