Crawl into the scenography and be surrounded by sounds, lights, music and presence on the children’s terms. Dance Baby Dance is Bora Bora’s interactive dance festival for babies, toddlers and their parents. Performances that arouse the children’s curiosity, support their imagination and create present encounters between the dancer and the children. Bring your baby or borrow one if you do not have one yourself!

OCEAN
May 17th to 19th
A poetic experience of the magical world of the sea that calms the nervous system and binds parents and babies closer together. MYKA invites babies and their adults into a sensual and meditative ocean universe with luminescent deep-sea creatures and plastic pollution. Beneath the surface of the unknown deep, the two dancers, waves, sea plants, luminescent deep-sea creatures and plastic meet in a whole new and improved ecosystem.
WOODPECKER
May 17th to 18th
I peck, I feel, I rub, I fly,… gently back and forth. In this life-size sound installation, babies, toddlers and adults can listen, feel, play, rest, hang and crawl. A woodpecker conducts a musical dialogue, a nightingale sings it’s evening song and invites us to be part of its story. Sparkling, warm and repetitive sounds and music stimulate and envelop the very youngest in this Klankennest installation and performance.
LUMI
May 20th to 22nd
Experience a warm welcoming space which your baby can explore together with you and the dancers of the performance. With an interactive scenography of luminous objects that respond to touch and movement. Come, relax and enjoy the stimulating and visual experience.
OORT
May 23rd to 24th
“OORT” (English title “HEAR/HERE”) is an intimate sound experience that plunges you and the three performers into a sea of sounds that you recognize from long before you remember anything, from before you were born. Because our first encounter with the world consists purely of sound. And there are all manner of things for unborn ears to hear: gurgling, pounding, rumbling, rustling, but also singing, laughing, speaking, humming, strumming and crashing … a magisterial, churning, mishmashing mother’s melody.
LOUNGE
Before and after the performances you can use our baby lounge. Here you can check in and relax with your baby/toddler. It is possible to leave outerwear, bags and more. The lounge is always under supervision. Here you will also have the opportunity to babysit, breastfeed, play and more.
At the start of the performance – and at the end you will be followed to and from the theater hall. From the lounge to the theater hall there is a 30 meters walk outdoors.
