Glimt
The performance GLIMT [twinkle] invites the audience into the vibrant universe of the party, where moments and moods from everyday and life's celebrations unfold.
Imagine a place where no one can stop dancing
The beat in your chest makes it impossible to stop
Dom Dom Dom
Dom Dom Dom
Dom Dom Dom
I closed my eyes and saw a flare in my mind
My mind on a wave of sound waves so close to capsizing
It was a very special sight
Then like lightning
I saw pulse and rhythm collide
Freedom itself is when dance, pulse and rhythm culminate
Then I lost every feeling in my body
As I flew off among the stars up, up, up.
The performance GLIMT [twinkle] invites the audience into the vibrant universe of celebration, where moments and moods from everyday and life’s celebrations unfold. Here we meet in both the ordinary and the unforgettable celebrations, where communities are formed and traditions are given new life.
The young dancers explore the long table of confirmation, the intimacy of the pre-party and the anticipation of a birthday. The gatherings where we are reflected in each other in the sparkling glow of light and party clothes.
In GLIMT, the audience and dancers flow through a dynamic stream of scenes where bodies and minds glide in and out of the layers of the party and the nuances of the senses. Through movement, the dancers unfold the many thoughts and feelings that emerge when we meet in the party space and let the music and each other’s presence take over.
You will experience choreographies created by guest choreographers Amalie Stitz and Marc Lapuerta and the program leader Lene Bonde in close artistic collaboration with the dancers.

MUSIC:
GLIMT’s sound universe is created by students from Produktionslinjen MGK in Holstebro in close collaboration with the choreographers. The production line at MGK is led by Maria Guttesen.
Before each performance, you will be able to experience an intimate concert with the students from Produktionslinjen in Head Quarters. Here they will perform their own songs.
COSTUMES:
The costumes in the performance are designed and created by Ida Florin Voldsgaard, a student at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and former student of the Art & Design program at the Danish Talent Academy. Ida Florin Voldsgaard has involved the students of the Art & Design program through workshops, and they have contributed costume elements to the performance.
The Art & Design program is led by Anna Margrethe Pedersen.
