Bora Bora welcomes you to the festival with a focus on body, brain and movement. Through dance performances from Denmark and abroad, lectures, conversation salons, audience conversations with artists, etc. you can with your fellow audience and the festival's artists try to put into words what both the brain and the body experience.

A rhythmic, fiercely energetic and exhilarating performance from celebrated choreographer Hofesh Shechter and his award-winning company Shechter II. In a work that is dipped in ironic references to pop culture and making a playful take on Shechter’s own art form, in Contemporary Dance 2.0 only one thing is certain, the dancers do it their own way.

What if our future bodies develop additional extensions, special features and extra tools? How will this effect the way we move, relate, express and communicate in a posthuman world? TECHNO FAUNA is a dance piece that speculates on the future of human existence, it’s transformation and adaptation. It explores the limits of the body, it’s archeology and the possibility to morph with it’s surroundings. Portuguese choreographer Liliana Barros offers her strongly visual take in a beautiful and precise choreography.

Have you even danced in secret in front of the mirror at home? LISTENING PARTY is a party on stage with a large group of local teenagers. They play their favorite music, sing, dance, cry or do whatever. They talk about their music and about themselves, their ideas, worries, thoughts and dreams.
